Hebridean Isles arriving at Port AskaigPosted by mark unsworth (isle of islay, United Kingdom) on 11 March 2009 in Transportation. Those visitors on this ferry to Islay yesterday 10/3 arrived in glorius sunshine and little wind. For those not familiar with travel to Islay, most peoples journeys start at Kennacraig on mainland Argyll for a CalMac crossing to either Port Ellen or Port Askaig. Visitors to the Isle of Jura then take a secondary ferry (inset), Jura forms the backdrop to the main image. More than just recording the scene Prints of this image are available through my website at www.islaystudios.co.uk
