Whatever that whisky is...a bet it's beautiful. From it's colour I would bet £10 that it is from a big fat Sherry butt at Bunnahabhain and it's age would be from around 1990. Yep, I'm sure it has to be Bunna....

Do I win a weeks holiday on Islay??

Perhaps the blue cask ends of the RB casks gave the distillery away but because you were close but not close enough on the year, you lost out on the holiday. This was a 1987 dram and very smooth it was too !

Mark,

There isn't much whisky as dark and as rich as that on Islay, and what little there is is maturing on Shore Road, Bunnahabhain. Great pic.
